Number Concepts Tutor- Charlotte East Language Academy

Annie has a MS Degree in Biochemistry from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India and a MS Degree in Biology from Boston College. She worked in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry in Boston before taking a break to raise her children. After moving to Charlotte, she has volunteered at many schools in the area. She was also a volunteer at Heart for 6 years. She worked as a Math Tutor in CMS and Union County Public Schools. Her experience has shown her the strong, positive impact that one-on-one and small group tutoring has on students. She believes that a solid foundation in basic math skills is essential for success in school and beyond. She is excited to join the Heart Team as a Number Concepts Tutor.
