Emily Aleski
Director of Program Training and Implementation
Emily, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a B.A. in dual programs of Communications: Rhetoric and English Writing. Always having felt a calling towards education, she decided to pursue her teaching certification while completing her Masters of Education at Carlow University. Emily moved to Charlotte in 2012 to teach with Project L.I.F.T. in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools as a third-grade teacher. During her time with CMS, she led her grade-level team, coordinated volunteer tutor-student relationships, and mentored and coached fellow teachers in their instructional practices and classroom development. Emily believes all students deserve an excellent education, and they will grow, thrive and succeed if both challenged and supported with engaging, intentional instruction.
