Glenda Camacho Mauck

Glenda has served in the education non-profit space for nearly 13 years and feels a deep passion for unlocking the brilliance in every child. Prior to joining Heart in 2024, Glenda worked in development for Teach For America – North Carolina, leading a team of fundraisers and raising more than $12 million towards educational equity in local schools. Glenda immigrated to the US from Ecuador as a young child and considers Gainesville, FL home. She has a BA in Public Relations from the University of Florida and a Masters in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida. Glenda has lived in Charlotte since 2011 and loves building relationships with community members who share her passion for ensuring that every child thrives. Glenda has two elementary age daughters who fuel her commitment to this critical work and keep her very busy.
