Director, Out of School Time Tutoring

Jordan is a native Charlottean and graduated from Wake Forest University in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education. She worked for seven years at Oakhurst Steam Academy with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a second, third, and fourth grade teacher before becoming the Math Facilitator. In 2020, Jordan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education. Jordan joined Heart as the Out of School Time Director in June 2022 with the desire to continue to provide all Charlotte Mecklenburg students with quality and engaging math instruction. She believes that all students are capable of being successful mathematicians when provided nurturing and differentiated experiences.
