Kiana Johnson

Coordinator, Out of School Time Tutoring

Kiana is a Buffalo, NY native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education in 2019. She started her teaching journey at Devonshire Elementary as a third grade teacher. Kiana later on taught 1st grade and Special Education through Movement Schools. In May 2023 Kiana completed her M.Ed in Urban Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She recently joined the Heart Math Tutoring team as the Heart 3-5 Coordinator. Kiana believes that all students are capable of learning given the right tools and resources.
