Mary Laurens Minich

Senior Program Manager

Mary Laurens brings nearly 30 years of experience in education, with a career centered on helping students, families, and schools thrive. Before moving to the Charlotte area from Nashville, Tennessee, she held a variety of leadership roles in public education, including serving as Chief Academic Officer for a network of public charter schools. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Millsaps College, her M.Ed. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University, and her Ed.D. in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from Lipscomb University. Mary Laurens is excited to join Heart Math Tutoring and return to her roots in work that directly supports students and families. She believes deeply that all children deserve access to high-quality educational opportunities and the support they need to grow as confident, successful learners. Outside of work, Mary Laurens enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family, and keeping up with their three dogs.
