Melissa Lefko

Operations Manager, Out of School Time Tutoring

Melissa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science and from the University of South Carolina with an M.A. in Anthropology. She has spent her entire career in the non-profit world with a focus on education and training. Melissa relocated to Charlotte after nearly two decades in Washington, D.C., and immediately volunteered as a tutor with CMS. She recently joined Heart Math Tutoring as Operations Coordinator for the Heart 3-5 program. Melissa believes that all students will thrive and succeed when bolstered by engaging, collaborative instruction.
