Stacey Howell

Extended Learning Program Coordinator - Mint Hill Elementary

After graduating from Furman University and Wake Forest School of Law, Stacey practiced civil and criminal defense law until her children were born. She spent the following years volunteering extensively in Charlotte schools, with Girl Scouts of America, and other organizations. Stacey became a Heart Math volunteer tutor in 2020. She found the experience so rewarding that when her children were older and the time came to return to the work force, she knew that she wanted to join the mission at Heart. She joined the team in 2024 as an Extended Learning Program Manager at Mint Hill Elementary. Stacey believes that our public schools are the most vital part of building the future of the Charlotte community, and is honored to be a part of “the village” that supports our teachers and students.
