Susan Johnson

Program Coordinator - Rama Road Elementary

After graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Communication Studies, Susan worked in event management in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.  While her children were growing up, she focused on volunteering through her church as a youth group coordinator and in her neighborhood elementary schools.  Susan started volunteering with Heart in 2017 and is excited to now be joining the team as a Program Coordinator.  Susan truly believes that volunteers can make a huge difference in the life of a child by encouraging a love of learning and building self-confidence.
