Suzanne Hunt

Suzanne has served as an educator, youth advocate, and community volunteer in Charlotte since 2003 when she and her husband relocated from Pennsylvania with their five children. Suzanne graduated from Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in Education. In addition, she has earned a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Suzanne is also a certified Life Coach, helping others sort through life’s challenges. Throughout her career working with CMS and Communities In Schools, she has sought to advance educational and life opportunities for youth. Suzanne values education and believes that an engaged community can help unlock a child’s potential, and that all children have a right to quality education and equal access to community resources.
