Heart Math Tutoring provides a fun way to build relationships with students while delivering academic skills crucial to their success. Anyone who can commit one volunteer hour per week can make an impact, and we would love for you to join us to begin tutoring in Fall 2024! Please provide your time and location preferences below.
Volunteer Requirements in Charlotte, NC
- Must be a U.S. Resident
- Must be 18+ years of age (and cannot be current high school student)
- Must pass Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Volunteer Background Check (requires a valid US Drivers License and SSN)
- Must complete all components of HMT Tutor Training (orientation, policy signoff)
- Commit to making an impact with 30 minutes or 1 hour per week

With only a couple of months left of tutoring, onboarding has wrapped up for the 2024/25 school year; however, we are excited to pair Charlotte students with volunteer tutors for the 2025/26 school year soon!
