It All Adds Up: End of the Year Results are IN!

As we head into the summer, we are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding academic progress made by nearly 1,000 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) students during the 2018/19 school year. With an increase in students and schools from the 2017/18 school year, tutors were able to help even more students surpass their goals and end the year on yet another high note.

EVERYBODY can be a Heart Tutor! To kick off recruitment season we are challenging YOU to recruit more tutors through a friendly contest so that we can serve more schools and more students.

No matter the winner, in the end, it all ADDS up to more Heart!

The Rules

• For each new tutor you recruit, you receive 1 point for your 2018-19 school.
• Whichever 2018-19 school team recruits the most new tutors will receive a special prize for their 2019-20 students. 
• New tutors must sign

Heart Tutoring Volunteer Partner – GEM

Seal of “Efficiency” from the Best

Global Endowment Management (GEM) began their partnership with Heart Math Tutoring in 2014 when Heart Tutoring was the recipient of a GEM Foundation grant. As the internal, employee-led grant team was establishing their financial partnership they also saw a great opportunity to start a volunteer partnership, with the first GEM tutors starting in the 2015/16 school year. GEM’s leadership not only encourages volunteering but prioritizes educating employees on the needs of the Charlotte community.
