Heart Math Tutoring Featured on Charlotte Today
08.11.2016Heart Math Tutoring was featured on Charlotte Today to spread the word about Heart’s 2016/17 Volunteer Drive. “We partner with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. We give tutors a curriculum and we put a staff person there to help. We need volunteers to commit one hour per week to help a student build skills and confidence,” says Emily Elliott, Heart’s Executive Director. Heart Math Tutoring Launches Volunteer Drive for Upcoming School Year

Staff Spotlight: Amy Sinclair, Development Director
07.11.2016 Heart has hired Amy Sinclair as development director, responsible for leading Heart’s fund development strategy, including work with foundations, corporations, donors, and funding partners.A Los Angeles native, Amy moved to North Carolina in 2008 to attend Davidson College. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Before joining Heart, Amy was the Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Charlotte Rescue Mission. She is passionate about leading Heart’s development efforts during this season of growth.
