Heart Math Tutoring Receives School Sponsorship-Level Grants from The Belk Foundation and Faison Enterprises
01.30.2017Heart wrapped up 2016 with school sponsorship-level grants from The Belk Foundation and Faison Enterprises.
The Belk Foundation has made a two-year commitment of $40,000 per year, and Faison Enterprises has awarded $30,000 to Heart. The grants are at the “school sponsorship” level, each providing tutoring from September to May to over 50 students who are performing below grade level in elementary math. CycleGiving Success!
11.04.2016Thank you to CycleBar at Midtown for hosting a special CycleGiving spin class in October! The event was a huge success with approximately 25 spinners in attendance. All proceeds went to support Heart Math Tutoring as we work to bring one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to Charlotte students.
Thank you also to everyone who attended! We appreciate your support and loved the chance to exercise together to benefit Charlotte kids.
Heart Math Tutoring’s Funding Initiative Grows Program to Include 12 CMS School Partners
08.25.2016Heart Math Tutoring has completed its Spring Funding Initiative and raised $630K, which will enable Heart to grow from eight to 12 school sites during the 2016/17 school year.
Funds raised were from grants, corporation donations and from community support. Individual donors contributed $220K.
