03.29.2019Seal of “Efficiency” from the Best
Global Endowment Management (GEM) began their partnership with Heart Math Tutoring in 2014 when Heart Tutoring was the recipient of a GEM Foundation grant. As the internal, employee-led grant team was establishing their financial partnership they also saw a great opportunity to start a volunteer partnership, with the first GEM tutors starting in the 2015/16 school year. 11.13.2018Today, UNC Charlotte and TIAA partnered to host the “Making A Difference in the Community” Luncheon to honor Charlotte-area Difference Makers in recognition of TIAA’s centennial anniversary. The Year Ahead: Community Support Enables Heart Math Tutoring To Expand Reach, Impact
10.22.2015With the program now up and running in all eight schools, we are excited about the year ahead. Here’s a quick look at Heart Math Tutoring’s 2015-16 presence in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools:
- 390 students will receive tutoring for 30 minutes twice per week.
- 440 community members will be volunteer tutors, giving students foundational math skills and enthusiasm for academics through early May.
