2025 Annual Report
10.17.2025We are excited to share Heart Math Tutoring’s 2025 Annual Reports, highlighting student results, donor impact, and more across the Charlotte, Charleston, and Winston-Salem communities. In the 2024/25 school year, our generous donors, dedicated tutors, and community partners worked to provide one-on-one tutoring to over 1,400 elementary students across 29 schools in the Carolinas. Thank you to those who gave their time and resources to help ensure all elementary students build a strong foundation in math and the confidence needed for long-term success!

2024 Annual Report
10.04.2024Thank you for your support of a wonderful 2023/24 school year! We are excited to share Heart’s 2024 Annual Reports, highlighting student results, donor impact, and more. The generosity of donors, tutors, and school partners meant that 1,376 elementary students across 31 schools in Charleston, SC, Charlotte, NC, and Winston-Salem, NC had the chance to participate in one-on-one tutoring sessions twice a week in 2023/24, totaling over 20,000 hours of tutoring!

2023 Annual Report
10.12.2023We are proud to share about the impact Heart’s partners – students, families, tutors, donors, staff, and others – have made over the past year in the Heart Math Tutoring 2023 Annual Report!
2023 marks Heart Math Tutoring’s 10th year as a nonprofit organization. We are are grateful for the community that has supported growth from two to 26 schools in Charlotte over the past ten years and led to partnerships in Charleston, SC and Winston-Salem, NC! 2022 Annual Report
10.05.2022In the 2021/22 school year, support from donors and volunteers provided 935 elementary students with math tutoring. HMT grew to serve 24 Charlotte elementary schools, recruiting 1,135 volunteer tutors who worked one-on-one with a student (or two!) each week. 97% of those students showed growth between their pre- and post-assessments, and 90% of teachers reported that they saw an increase in their HMT students’ confidence.

2021 Annual Report
10.07.2021We are excited to present the Heart Math Tutoring 2021 Annual Report, highlighting student impact over the past year!
Support from donors and volunteers has translated to one-on-one tutoring, math skills, and confidence for 516 students in the 2020/21 virtual school year and supported the creation and implementation of a virtual tutoring format that will continue to benefit students in 2021/22 and beyond.
We are grateful to all of our funding partners, donors, and tutors for their dedication to Heart Math Tutoring students!
