2022/23 Program Results

We are excited to announce 2022/23 Charlotte program results and celebrate a successful year of tutoring! In 2022/23, 1,241 volunteer tutors contributed nearly 19,000 hours of 1:1 tutoring sessions. Donors and funding partners provided resources for 982 students at 26 schools to receive high quality, individualized tutoring at no cost to their families. Most importantly, Heart students persevered to build math skills and confidence!
At a glance:
- 96% of students grew in two or more concepts, meeting program growth goals
- 92% of teachers believe their Heart students showed increased confidence and enthusiasm for learning as a result of the program
- 97% of families gave a score of 9 or 10 when asked the likelihood they would recommend the program to others
- 98% of volunteers rated their tutoring experience as positive
