Heart Executive Director Emily Gaffney led the “Education and Childhood Trauma” session at the Charlotte Justice Conference on 10/5/19. The second annual conference was organized by Christine Nicodemus and Heart tutor Tim Nicodemus and had around 115 guests in attendance at Project 658.

2019 Math Perspectives Summer Institute: A New Resource Series!

Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to join educators from around the nation in a week-long training with Kathy Richardson and the Math Perspectives professional development team here in Charlotte. We had the chance to collaborate and encourage one another in creatively and effectively serving our students.
